Experience & work

Before joining Manningtons in July 2022, Meg qualified as a Chartered Accountant in October 2020 with an accounting practice in Tunbridge Wells.

Working closely with a broad range of clients Meg has gained a commercial approach to accounting and tax planning. With time predominately spent working with owner-managed businesses, personal tax and audit clients, Meg has a strong desire in ensuring tax efficiency and assisting businesses to run in the most optimal manner.

Meg is a very competent and experienced user of accountancy software’s such as Sage and Xero, including the ability to tailor the suite of reports and adapt to individual requirements.

Living on a farm Meg has a keen interest in tax planning for farmers and has a lot of experience preparing farm accounts and dealing with general issues faced by farmers.

Qualifications

Meg is an ACA (Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales) and has an Accounting and Finance degree from the University of Sussex.

Hobbies/interests

Meg is a total animal lover, fitness fanatic and travel enthusiast. A recent trip to Finland was a step away from the usual sunny destination, but the ice karting and husky rides made it a firm favourite. Any spare time spent at home Meg is walking her Fox Red Lab on the farm. He is currently in training…on how the sheep are in fact not play mates…!
